Big News: Courtyard Marriott Is Coming to Bastrop!
Bastrop is growing—and fast. One of the latest signs of that growth? A brand-new Courtyard Marriott hotel is officially in the works. It’s going up right off Highway 71, near Jackson Square, and it's going to be a game-changer for both visitors and locals.
This four-story hotel will offer over 63,000 square feet of space and is expected to open by the end of 2026. With a $10 million investment behind it, it’s clear that big names like Marriott see the same potential in Bastrop that we do.
For those of us who live here, it means more job opportunities, more tourism, and more support for nearby businesses. For folks visiting Bastrop—whether for business, events, or just to enjoy the Colorado River and historic downtown—it means a comfortable, modern place to stay just minutes from it all.
